Can I have my sanity back?

 

I love my little Eli, but lately he has been disturbing every nook and crany in the house. Creating caos everywhere he goes, because he has learned to open doors. Getting into the pantry for snacks, invading Sierra's closet to undo all the games, wanting to eat an entire tube of toothpaste from the bathroom, getting into my wallet for money and gum that's in my room -- and the list goes on and on. Needless to say, it has been affecting the mood in our home for EVERYONE, so I rushed out to Wal-Mart this morning and purchased these fancy little devices for the door knobs and I'm glad to say that he can NOT open them now. Yay for modern inventions that make my job a tad easier!

It's My Time

One on One

I have really enjoyed hanging out with this little guy by myself -- since the kids went back to school. He loves to sit next to me and watch Curious George, is a pretty good lunch date and loves to dive into bed for nap time. However, there will be another turkey joining us soon, so I guess we better not get to comfy in our ways ;)

 

ARRRRRRR!

Pirate Island Pizza FINALLY opened and of course we had to go, cause David couldn't stand it any longer (kids too). The food was yummy, the pirate atmosphere was great and the kids had fun. Now we don't have to go back for at least 6 months, right?

 

21st Century Travel

Went down to St. George a couple of weeks ago to visit family and help David's parents clean out their house. The visit was enjoyable, the kids were great and we were able to see Renee and Rusty and their newest addition to the family...Brody.
