Ward Party
Eli once again could not wait to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what he wanted. And of course, getting a candy cane was the best part!

The kids helped put on a nativity scene. Chandler was Joseph, Sierra was an angel and Eli was a wise man.

Ho Ho Ho!
We headed to the mall last Saturday to see Santa Claus. We got there at 10:30 in the morning and to our surprise there was no one in line, so the minute I put Eli down he literally ran to Santa, like if he didn't get there right away Santa was going to disappear.
Santa grabbed him and put him on his lap, and Eli then proceeded to tell Santa that he wanted a red fire truck for Christmas. Chandler and Sierra also chatted with the big guy and made sure he new exactly what they wanted!
I was so thrilled to see how Eli reacted to Santa, it certainly put a smile on my face!

After, we headed to the movies and saw "The Princess & the Frog" which we all thought was so entertaining and fun. David and I even cried a little at the end. I definately recommend seeing it!

36 weeks!
Here is the last picture you will get out of me, until the little guy is born :)
I am totally uncomfortable, I can't sleep well anymore, and I am getting tons of braxton hicks and feeling tons of pressure.
Went to my appointment today and I'm actually measuring a week bigger (37 weeks), so we'll see if this little guy wants to come early.
That would be nice!

BYU
We took the kids to the BYU Christmas Party that they do every year for the families of students and faculty.
They made a craft, drank punch and played a few Christmas games. However, next year we will try to get there earlier so that we can get donuts and see Santa Claus.

Christmas Parade
Every year, on the Friday after Thanksgiving Spanish Fork does a Christmas Light Parade and the kids think it is so neat. They shut down Main Street and turn off all the lights. Then every float that goes by is lit up in Christmas lights.
We started off in the car, but the kids wanted to see better and face the cold. Eli was so amazed by everything that went by, it was fun to watch!

BUSY
Unfortunately, I ended up with no pictures from the Thanksgiving Day festivities -- I'm bad! So, I'm just going to have to tell you about them.
David and Chandler went to the "Ward Turkey Bowl" in the morning, while I began the food preperations. Sierra and Eli watched the "Macey's Day Parade" while I was busy in the kitchen.
David fried 2 turkey's which were SOOOOOOO yummy and the apple pie I made was in my opinion, the best I ever made :)
We ate our Thanksgiving feast with our neighbors the Bevan's and then headed to my mother's house for pie with the family. The day ended up turning out very well, and we were all exhasuted by the end of the night.
David decided to battle "Black Friday" at Wal-Mart and spent the night in the store to get the best deals on the things we needed. He was a trooper and ended up getting everything we needed.
Now on to Christmas!

Daddy's Little Helper
David helped my mom add some extra shelving to her pantry, and Eli was front and center wanting to contribute to the project. Hammering, drilling and measuring......it was stinkin' cute!
