After the birthday festivities ended, Sierra had her cousin Kate sleepover, and they had a ball! They watched "Tinkerbell" before they went to bed and then when they woke up, they played for 3 solid hours with all her new toys. It has just been since Kate has been visiting this summer that Sierra and Kate have enjoyed each others company. I know they will be close cousins from here on out :)

Sierra is 6!
Holy Cow, Sierra turned six, where did the time go! I can't believe she is going to be in first grade this year too! On July 7th, we went to the pool for a couple of hours with our neighbors, and then David took Chandler and Sierra to see "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinasaurs", while I made cupcakes and let Eli nap. After dinner Nana and the Wudel's came over for cake and presents. She had a wonderful day, and loved ALL her presents.
Sierra is such a sweet little girl and is such a good friend and daughter. I'm so glad I was blessed with her in my life, and I'm sure her dad would agree. Love you Sierra!

Best 4th of July EVER!
Talk about a great 4th, David and I both had church responsibilities in the morning that prevented us from going to the parade, but we got over to mom's for Brunch around noon and had breakfast casserole and fruit -- a tradition that is holding strong! Then we came home and began preparing for the events of the evening.
David cooked ribs and shredded pork for sandwhiches, neighbor's from every direction came and of course my family. Mom, Corinne and Johny, Brandon and Ashley, Fred and Nicea, Abby and Jeff and all the kids. We had a slew of food including baked beans, potato salad and homemade icecream! And then when it started to get dark the fireworks were unleashed, to say the least.
David, Brandon and Kyle got out the torches and started the fireworks show that included a few illegals (which we didn't bye), and the show went for 1 1/2 hours. It was awesome and the kids loved it (the adults too!).
I apologize for the lack of pictures.
Happy kids!
Protecting the ear drums.
Could she be any more beautiful?

The power of Nacho
I was speachless when I came into my room and this is what I saw. That's right folks, all 3 of my kids watching a movie together. And not just any movie, "Nacho Libre". Chandler is a big fan of Jack Black and Eli will only sit and watch T.V. if it's NOT a cartoon. Who new?
