Sierra is starting her first day at dance class. She has been counting the day's and annoying her mother just a little over it, but she looks perfect and will do a wonderful job!

Our first & last Cheyenne experience
Mom and I, with Sierra and Eli in tow, drove up to Cheyenne, Wyoming to see Cameron play two games. The trip took 7 hours one way and when we had to turn around and leave the next day for another 7 hour trip home, we were all pretty taxed physically and emotionally (Eli was less than pleasant).
The "Golden Eagles" ended up winning their game on Saturday 6-1, but ended up losing on Sunday 0-3. They played so well though! It was overcast and VERY windy, but it ended up being fun to bundle up in sweatshirts and blankets...of course, the kids had snotty noses, but what can you do.
Cameron looks great out there on the field, and his coach said at the end of the second game that Cameron played the best! Can't ask for anything more:)
Before we left, we musceled up enough courage to check out his dorm room and to our surprise was not as bad as we were anticipating. Cameron ended up making Cheyenne, WY out to be this place with NOTHING, but mom and I thought there was plenty...a mall, restaurants, movie theater, "The Wrangler" heehee, etc., besides, it's the capitol of Wyoming. It is however in the middle of no where. We love you Cameron and hope your experience at LCCC is turning out to be a good one. Don't forget to be the good excample!

Farwell to Indian Hills
Well, mom sold her house after it had been on the market for five months, and although we were anxious for her to sell and lower the amount of stress that comes with having a big home, I do say I was a little sad to see everything packed up and moved out. I was not raised in this home, because mom bought it during the summer of 1996, however most of my other siblings loved and appreciated this house for it's location and it's size. It not only fit a family with six kids, but was in close proximity to the high school and friends. I think I can speak for most of us kids when I say that although we were frustrated at times with all the "fix it" projects that were always going on, we will always appreciate the home and all the great memories that were created there. The Front: Raking tons of leaves, playing in the snow, Easter egg hunts, basketball games/Around The World and just vegging on the lawn will be VERY missed.
Living Room: Playing the piano, Christmas tree & stockings, friends and family get togethers and where all the baby showers were held :)
Ahh the Kitchen: Although mom had a 20 year old fridge and a gas stove that gave off gas fumes, this is where we always migrated.....where the food is of course. All the family Sunday dinner's, heated conversations between siblings and their spouses, card games and listening to music while making cookies/banana bread. Good times!
Family Room: "Ode to the blue couches". You may notice that the couches are green, however not long ago we had the blue couches that were as old as Megan and at the end of their life the cushions were very smashed and mom had taken a needle and thread to them more than once. As uncomfortable as they got, they will be missed. LOTS of movies, birthday's, sewing, wrestling matches, grandkid's playing, and who hasn't taken a date down to the basement and made out! There isn't a picture of the computer room, however plenty happened there too! Bills, T.V. and good, but crazy conversations. 3206 Apache Lane will be missed, but I am thrilled about mom's new home and all the GREAT memories we will make there!

No Ma
Eli is totally communicating with us lately, and in a way we can kind of understand now. It never gets old to hear your child begin to talk and all the new words they pick up on. Eli is not just saying "NO", but "NO MA", which is so freakin' cute to hear and he says yes by just nodding his head up and down. We even have the kid saying "Tank Ooooo" (thank you), which he will willingly say when you give him a bottle. He is still our little pistol, trying our patience ALL the time, but we love him and appreciate these moments of growth, which remind us that being a parent is so worth it!

...and one more makes 6!
This is "Indi", our new boxer, given to use by my VERY generous sister-in-law Renee. He is 3 months old and pretty darn cute! We (meaning "ME") are trying to potty train him, which is no fun, but he loves playing with the kids and going for walks. We are excited for him to be with us and hope we can get our backyard functional enough for him in the near future. Thanks Rymer family for giving him to us!
LCCC
Mom, David, me and the kids headed up to Salt Lake Comm. College to watch Cameron play soccer. The score ended up 1-1 and since it was not a conference game, they did not play in over time.
Future soccer player?
Cameron is #15...in the middle.
Chandler misses his Uncle Cameron! What a couple of handsome boys! We miss you Cameron :)

3rd times a charm.....or is it?
Congrats to Brandon and Ashley! They welcomed their 3rd boy to their family last week, and although he was 5 weeks early, he is doing very well and looks fabulous. I wish you the best and hope your transition from 2 to 3 goes smoothly :)

5 inches lighter.....Ahhhhhhhh!
My sister's are probably freakin' out, because they think I look better with long hair. Something about making my face look thinner, which I totally agree with, however I end up putting it in a pony tail or bun and looking way haggard by the end of the day. So with that being said, I decided to go darker and shorter and boy do I feel rejuvinated....and to be quite honest, a tad sexier! I plan on going even darker and shorter eventually, but thought I should gradually work into it. It's nice to be able to retire the hair bands for a time :)

Lovin' Her Voice
I'm sure most of you have heard this new song from Leona Lewis on the radio, but I can't seem to get enough of it...... enjoy!!

Kindergarten FINALLY!
Here is Sierra in all of her 1st day of school getup, looking pretty darn cute if you ask me. She was nothing but excited for school to start and she is anxious to get to know her teacher Mrs. Price! I wish you nothing but great success this year sis!
90% Unpacked
Here is a view looking in from the front door. To the left is the living room. You can see a stair case on the right and the family room straight ahead.
Here is the family room, which I might add fits ALL of our furniture-as dreadful as they look! We are having our blinds installed today, so in the mean time we have been lining the windows with empty boxes for privacy. Don't want to live in a fish bowl :)
As you come up the stairs on the right of this photo you come to a HUGE loft, which we plan to turn into a entertainment area for the kids!
Thanks to David being around alot and kids being in school, we have been able to get alot done and hope to one day fill this house with furniture, cause it looks pretty barren right now.

Sorry
I fixed the video of Coldplay singing "Viva La Vida", and it's an even better video of the song. So just scroll down to enjoy! Peace.
The House Update!
So, we aren't building with Trophy Homes anymore, because they ended up wanting more money from us in order to start, which didn't sound good to us, and because of that we were able to back out of our contract and get all of our money back. So we started looking for an already exsiting home and we came across this one which is a brand new build in Spanish Fork. The gentleman who built it was from California, but he could not sell his home there, so he could not purchase this one. It is gorgeous inside and has so much room to grow into. Approximatley 3200 finished square feet. We ended up sacraficing on the size of the yard, but we were on a time crunch and felt we could deal with it, since there is a park around the corner. The neighborhood is filled with tons of kids and young families and the kids are attending a great school which is only one year old. We will be closing on our home tomorrow (Friday) and moving this weekend, so David and I are a tad stressed, but we are soooooooooo excited for this move. We don't plan on moving for a LONG time......hopefully :)
2nd grade, here he comes!
Chandler was so excited and nervous to start school, however he started at Rocky Mountain (Lindon), went to three days there and then started his first day at Riverview (Spanish Fork) today, which he will attend from here on out! We love you Chandler and are anxious to see all the great things you do this year!
Eli is 1........Wahooo!
