What a stud!

David attended Open Solutions (his employer) annual "Kick Off Meeting" in Rhode Island for six days in January. During which time they award those who have gone above and beyond for the past year and then they focus on what they will accomplish in the new year.

David received a number of awards, as you can tell by the picture, for his accomplishments in 2009. They then awarded him a trip to Cancun (all inclusive)! He and the other Sales Consultant were awarded this trip, and lucky for me I get to go too! Unfortunatley they already had the trip scheduled for the first week in March which dosen't give me a lot of time to lose all the pregnancy weight, but I hear that no matter what, I will have a wonderful time!
We will be taking Deacon, so although David and I will not technically be alone, we will enjoy the lack of children we have to cater too!
Bonus: March is when we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary, so to have someone else paying for this trip? I think David & I scored BIG! Way to go babe :)

Super Bowl Champs!

That's right, the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl, thanks to an amazing kicker and for MVP quarterback -- Drew Brees!

Since the game went into overtime, we were glad to see the Saints win the coin toss, they got the ball close enough to the end zone that they were able to kick a 3 point feild goal and that won the game!
First championship appearance and win for the New Orleans Saints!
We were all celebrating - jumping up and down, high fives, kisses & "Who dat think gonna beat them Saints, who dat, who dat?"

Blessing Day!

I still can't believe I have 4 kids.

I was having a bad hair day, probably due to the fact that I didn't have time to do it -- what's new!

Thanks to Papa for the beautiful blessing outfit

Deacon Update

Our sweet little Deacon is 6 weeks old today and a hefty 12 pounds!

He TOTALLY has blue eyes, which means I have 3 blue eyed kids and only 1 brown eyed kid.

Pug nose and squishy cheeks!

He is a pretty mellow baby, however he still has his days and nights mixed up when it comes to sleeping. Bummer!

Basketball

Chandler has been doing basketball for the last 6 weeks and is really enjoying it. When David is in town he helps with the mid-week practices and all the games are on Saturday, so that helps guarantee that Dad will be at every game! However, Chandler is looking forward to spring baseball.....his favorite!

My 2 big helpers!

Can't imagine not having Chandler and Sierra around. They are helping so much, since Deacon has been born.
I appreciate them and love them so so much!

Wow, do I look swollen or what?

We ended up looking at pictures of me when I (Brooke) was born, and Deacon resembles me a TON!
However, he IS going to have blue eyes, so there is David in him somewhere ;)

Proud daddy!

Can you say, "Double Chin"?

Deacon Henry Wills

Me before surgery.

At the hospital - my sweet little Eli taking it all in. Not sure what to think!

He was a whopping 8 lbs. 8 oz.

Got the shirt at the hospital gift shop, thought it was appropriate!

Both Deacon and I are doing well, although my recovery is going a little slower than usual. David has totally stepped up to the plate and has picked up the slack, thanks to no traveling in January.
Life is more hectic, but we are all enjoying having the little guy around -- he is a calm baby (which I appreciate).
I promise to post more photos soon!

Exhausted!

Eli ended up keeping me up most of the night (Christmas Eve), due to a fever and his need to climb out of his crib. So at 9:30 on Christmas morning when I found him like this, I was not surprised. The excitement of opening presents and the lack of sleep, was too much for this little guy!

Christmas Eve

Doing the Nativity - Sierra was Mary and Chandler was a Shepard. (Eli wasn't feeling well, so he had no interest.)

Opening their Christmas p.j.'s from Nana!

Lookin' good sport!

Pretty in pink!
