In late February we had the pleasure of having our friends from Tucson, AZ come and visit for a few days. Pam, Shea and Colby enjoyed sledding for sure, as did my kids and David too! It was exhausting, and our weekend was busy, but we loved that they came to visit and hang out with us.
We miss you guys! Keep in touch :)

Really?
That's right, I buy jeans for my kids and this is how they repay me. No matter what brand, no matter what they are doing, this is what their jeans look like by mid March. My kids end up looking a tad homeless, but my March/April whose investing in more jeans.
I need someone to produce a industrial kid-strength pair of jeans, so that I don't have to keep buying them, ALL the time!
Julia Child
While in Virginia, we visited the Museum of Natural History and this kitchen was there -- Julia Childs' kitchen!
I had just seen the movie about her a few weeks prior to seeing this, so it got me all excited!
My Nana was a wonderful cook as well, so maybe that's why I am a tad facinated by her.
Virginia Visit
Towards the end of April Deacon and I flew to Virginia to visit my sister (Wudel Family). She has been on the east coast for almost 3 years and I had yet to visit, so when I had the opportunity to go -- we both got very excited!
I spent 4 days with them, visited national monuments, toured the Museum of Natural History, visited the cute little city of Alexandria and spent time with Corinne and her sweet family, which was the best part!
Thanks for being such wonderful hosts :)

Obsessed
Eli's favorite movies/toys are anything that have to do with "Toy Story 1 & 2" and we are excited that "Toy Story 3" is coming out this summer. To infinite and beyond!
Soap for dinner?
How do you discipline your 2 year old when he talks back or uses naughty words, when he likes to eat soap? Suggestions are appreciated!
Deacon - 3 months
My little chubby man - he is such a good baby and is smiling and talking so cute, mostly to mom and dad!
HIP HIP HORRAY!
That's right, this little nerd is officially potty trained, thus the reason for me not blogging for almost a month!
I was nervous about even starting, cause I thought he might be too young. There were tears (from me mostly), new toys to bribe him with, brand new underwear thrown away due to poopy mishaps, but in the end he conquered! The "Pull-Up" method worked for him, and he has had no accidents in almost 4 days (knock on wood). And he only wants to go when HE wants too, but as long as he has no accidents, I'm letting him be Mr. Independent!
