That's right, the New Orleans Saints won their Championship Division game yesterday against the Vikings!
They are going to the Super Bowl to play against the Colts and David is SOOOOO excited!

My 2 big helpers!

Can't imagine not having Chandler and Sierra around. They are helping so much, since Deacon has been born.
I appreciate them and love them so so much!

Wow, do I look swollen or what?

We ended up looking at pictures of me when I (Brooke) was born, and Deacon resembles me a TON!
However, he IS going to have blue eyes, so there is David in him somewhere ;)

Proud daddy!

Can you say, "Double Chin"?

Deacon Henry Wills

Me before surgery.

At the hospital - my sweet little Eli taking it all in. Not sure what to think!

He was a whopping 8 lbs. 8 oz.

Got the shirt at the hospital gift shop, thought it was appropriate!

Both Deacon and I are doing well, although my recovery is going a little slower than usual. David has totally stepped up to the plate and has picked up the slack, thanks to no traveling in January.
Life is more hectic, but we are all enjoying having the little guy around -- he is a calm baby (which I appreciate).
I promise to post more photos soon!

Exhausted!

Eli ended up keeping me up most of the night (Christmas Eve), due to a fever and his need to climb out of his crib. So at 9:30 on Christmas morning when I found him like this, I was not surprised. The excitement of opening presents and the lack of sleep, was too much for this little guy!

Christmas Eve

Doing the Nativity - Sierra was Mary and Chandler was a Shepard. (Eli wasn't feeling well, so he had no interest.)

Opening their Christmas p.j.'s from Nana!

Lookin' good sport!

Pretty in pink!

Ward Party

Eli once again could not wait to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what he wanted. And of course, getting a candy cane was the best part!

The kids helped put on a nativity scene. Chandler was Joseph, Sierra was an angel and Eli was a wise man.

After making an ornament and playing a game, we had hot chocolate and donuts!
Happy holiday memories!

X-Mas Performance

All of the 3rd grade classes put on a singing Christmas performance for the families last week.
He did a great job and even had a speaking part.

Since David's BIG birthday present was our little trip to New Orleans, the kids gave him socks and a belt hanger for the closet. We went out to eat to Terra Mia and then blew out a candle on top of a slice of banana cream pie.
We love you and hope you felt extra special on your birthday!

Do You Remember - Jay Sean

Ho Ho Ho!

We headed to the mall last Saturday to see Santa Claus. We got there at 10:30 in the morning and to our surprise there was no one in line, so the minute I put Eli down he literally ran to Santa, like if he didn't get there right away Santa was going to disappear.
Santa grabbed him and put him on his lap, and Eli then proceeded to tell Santa that he wanted a red fire truck for Christmas. Chandler and Sierra also chatted with the big guy and made sure he new exactly what they wanted!
I was so thrilled to see how Eli reacted to Santa, it certainly put a smile on my face!

After, we headed to the movies and saw "The Princess & the Frog" which we all thought was so entertaining and fun. David and I even cried a little at the end. I definately recommend seeing it!
