Phew!

O.k., so I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm glad the month of January is over! I don't know what it is, but after the nostalgia of the holiday's and the dreary reality of my post-holiday checkbook, I go into a slight depression and the fact that through out the whole month it was like 25 degrees outside...YUCK!
Well, now I can smile a little more, for now it is February!! It's been a tad warmer--not that it will last long, it's officially tax season...REFUNDS, and we are heading out-of-town with some friends this coming weekend, which David and I are anxiously waiting for! Oh and good grief, we can't forget about the lovey dovey holiday that is around the corner :)
I am officially excited to start this new year now, and maybe start exercising too (well, maybe when it's warmer).
HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL my friends & family!

I have a brother who's 30

Last Saturday (January 31st) was Brandon's 30th birthday! I hope you had a good day and got everything you wanted :) Here are a few pictures from back in the day.....love you bud, Enjoy!

Ahhhhhh....No kids!

For Megan's birthday, we thought it would be nice if we could go to dinner with no kids, so that we could hold some conversation without interruption. We all met up at the California Pizza Kitchen and had a lovely evening!

Sundance

On New Year's Day we went skiing up at Sundance. Chandler & Sierra went with us and did awsome!

This was David's first attempt at skiing, and I must say, he ended up doing pretty well by the end of the day.

Mid twenties

Megan was able to come visit for about 4 day's while Corinne and Johny were visiting, so we were able to celebrate her birthday. The only thing the kids were interested in was blowin' out the candles, even if it was on a half eaten cake. Happy 24th Birthday Megan, we love you!

Christmas Day!

For the first year, and probably the last David and I woke the kids on Christmas morning. Santa brought lots of great things, Chandler asked for a sling shot, Sierra got a big, soft and very pink "My Little Pony" and Eli was thrilled to get his little 4 wheeler. After present and stockings, mom and the two boys (Brett & Cameron) came over for breakfast. We fried up scones with honey butter and jelly and then watched "The Christmas Story", David's favorite!
Our family has been so blessed and we are so greatful for all our family, both near and far. Hope everyone's holiday's were memorable and safe.

I Apologize!

I'm sorry to everyone for not having posted in almost a month, considering that it has been that time of year that I take the most pictures and have lots to post about, however time has not been on my side as of late and for that, there are no posts.
And to top it off, we had to remove the program that allows me to put my pictures on the computer and blog, so that has thrown me for a loop.
Needles to say, I hope to be fully up and running by the end of the weekend, so please keep checking in with us!

Yay for 31

David turned the ripe young age of 31 this past Tuesday. Me and the kids took him to dinner....The Macaroni Grill, and then at his request, wanted uninterupted playing time on the Wii to play Metroid. For his birthday gift he recieved a 20 gauge Remington 870 shot gun. He has enjoyed going to the shooting range with our neighbor Kyle.
I love you David and hope your 31st year treats you well!

Ward Christmas Party!

All three kids sat on Santa's lap, however for some reason I didn't get Sierra....sorry sweetie! As you can tell by the agonizing expression on his face, Eli is not interested in Santa, but boy does he want that candy cane. Then the kids were able to participate in the nativity scene. Eli was a wise man, Sierra was an angel and Chandler was Joseph.

All bundled up

In the past week we have received 6 plus inches of snow, which has made for some good sledding, as well as, a yummy snack....Eli loves to eat it, which is fine with me as long as he is not grabbing the yellow snow from Indi.

Do you believe?

Chandler: Mom, do you believe in Santa?
Mom: Of course I do!
Chandler: Ya but your old now.
Mom: I might be old-ER, but Santa keeps bringing me something every year, so I BELIEVE!
Chandler: O.k. (and walks away, satisfied by my answer)

I grew up listening to the Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers Christmas Album, so maybe only family will appreciate this song. Enjoy!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...

Eli found a toy that he loved at the laundry mat. Christmas idea!

We went to Chandler's Pack meeting and Sierra Grace was being a dork!

I was snacking of some very yummy Wheat Thins when I looked on the back of the box and found "call Corinne" on a lavender post-it in the picture, and they even spelled her name the right way which is unheard of. I got a kick out of it!
