Bloody Fingers

Eli has dry fingers which makes the skin around his nails lift and he picks at it and thus why he has bloody fingers. So we had to resort to Super Hero band-aids on his fingers, so they can heal. He thought it looked pretty cool, but we'll see how long it lasts!

Future Gamer?

When Deacon sees anyone playing the XBOX he want in on the action! He just wants a controller so he can push the buttons.
But drinking his sippy is just as important -- what a goober!

My Little Tumbler!

Sierra has been taking tumbling for a year and this is at one of her "Show Cases". She just advanced to the next level class and is learning to do flips!
Canon decided to come and check it out and he was entertaining too! Do they look like twins or what?

Easter 2011

Survived & Actually Enjoyed

The week of Spring Break (April 11-15) actually went off without any major issues. Kids played, mom slept in a few times and we sucked down about 60 Otter Pops that week! Here are the two boys on the Merry Go Round at Trafalga in Lehi.

I ended up not getting any pictures of the two older kids, but can't do anything about it now :) By Sunday night however, I was ready to send the kids back to school!

Elder Shumway has returned!

Cameron came home April 15th, having served an honorable 2 year mission in Columbus, Ohio! His family is so proud of him and we are all excited that he is home. Here is the video of him reuniting with the family at the airport.

#3

Here is Jane Marie Wudel -- Corinne & Johny's third little munchkin, weighing in at 6 lbs. 14 oz. She is healthy and beautiful! I wish the Wudel family the best and hope that the transition to three kids is a smooth one! Isn't she adorable?

It's been a long time waiting....

Britney Spears FINALLY came out with a decent song, and every time I hear it I wanna dance! Enjoy :)

Eeeeeellliiiiiiiii

I can officially say that Eli is finally out of the terrible two's and into the entertaining 3's! He says the darndest stuff, is figuring out what kinds of things he likes (Iron Man, riding his scooter, "Megamind" the movie, swords and guns) and is loving preschool - he can write his name!

Ice Cream Slobber

Deacon - 13 months

2nd times a charm!

David did it again! He was rewarded a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for his achievements in 2010.
But this time we got to go without a 2 month old - YEEHAA!

We went whale watching, saw the famous "Cabo Arch" and a bunch of seals, visited the shoppes in town, sat by the pool all day, and enjoyed such yummy Mexican food.

I look as tan as I do in mid-July - thank you Mexican sun!
All along the coast, there are these gorgeous resorts.

David capturing footage of the whales we were following.
This is one of the pools we swam in - beautiful, right? David and I had such an enjoyable time, and I want to give a shout out to my sister Megan for watching our four kids while we were gone! Her and Mom conquered and I so appreciate her willingness to do it, I just hope I can repay her soon. I owe her BIG TIME!

Glued

Deacon LOVES the television - sometimes it's a good thing, but other times it's not.

Here are Eli and Deacon watching "Despicable Me" with every blanket and pillow in the house -- COMFY!

Deacon's 1st Birthday!

My sweet little boy, I can hardly believe he is one. He started walking at 10 1/2 months, running by 12 months and is not slowing down. He loves wrestling with his brothers and sister, is VERY attached to his "baba" aka bottle, and his favorite movie which he will sit through entirely is "Despicable Me". I love you my sweet baby boy!

Tubes :(

Deacon after we got home from the surgical center.
This little guy has had 6 ear infections in a row since he was 7 months, so I took him to a specialist and the doctor thought tubes was the best option. On January 5th, 2011, he was admitted to the surgical center where he got tubes put in both ears. The doctor told me both of his ears were clogged completely with tar like wax...EWE! Needless to say, he did well and I am happy to report that the tubes are keeping his ears healthy and me sane!
